Halfway through January, and I’m beginning to feel a bit more tired than usual which could probably be attributed to the fact that I have now worked out every day for eighteen straight days.
I finished off my last pair of “old” shoes this week, and am now running full-time in my new Brooks Adrenaline GTS 20s. I’m not entirely sold on these shoes yet – the widest part of my foot gets a little red and achy after running in them, but I’m going to stick with them unless it becomes a significant issue. And the $130 price tag isn’t a factor in that. Okay, maybe it is.
So here are my updated stats:

- Average Run: 3.59 miles
- Longest Run: 5.19 miles (1/12)
- Shortest Run: 1.32 miles (1/11)
This week was my highest mileage week, which also featured my longest run of the year, and increased my average run’s distance.
